www.lek.com .Overview of function:This role will be responsible for creating and driving an integrated communications strategy and program with the ability to engage, align, and inspire all corporate stakeholders including recruits, employees, alumni, and external corporate audiences. This role will oversee three main functions: Alumni relations, Internal employee communications, and corporate external communications. The Director will drive and manage the L.E.K. Network program and portal for staff and alumni, working closely with the global People (Human Capital) team to manage communications to recruiting audiences as well as current employees. This role partners closely with the leadership team, Human Capital, Talent Acquisition, and Marketing to shape, drive, and deliver the L.E.K. strategy for culture, communications, and engagement to key stakeholders.Responsibilities:Internal CommunicationsLead enterprise-wide communications; work with the People team and leadership to determine internal communications strategy and execute programs to deliver communications objectives throughout the organization inclusive of corporate culture and business strategy.Deliver communications solutions that effectively communicate corporate priorities and achieve organizational objectives related to leadership changes, process implementations, new solutions offerings, M&A activities, and more.Draft executive internal communication including announcements, updates, and invitations.Support global People team needs related to employee messaging and communications.Develop internal messaging across all platforms including newsletters, email announcements, on-line, intranet, and video.Guide and manage development of our global intranet platform.Alumni RelationsLead development, implementation, and assessment of strategies and programs to maintain lifelong engagement among our employees once they leave L.E.K. and pursue other opportunities.Manage all aspects of the L.E.K. Network web pages for alumni and staff.Coordinate programming for alumni (webinars, mentor/mentee program, panel discussions, reunions, cocktail parties, etc.) and engage partners and staff in these events.Cultivate alumni “ambassadors” and internal partner champions for the alumni program.Employment BrandingPartner with the People team on implementation/communication of employer brand and employee value proposition, to establish L.E.K. Consulting as an employer of choice for internal and external talent.Build social media strategy to engage prospective employees at both the undergraduate and graduate school levels.Manage company presence on employment-related websites and social media platforms. Responsible for monitoring, flagging, and when necessary, responding to employment-related social media channels as appropriate.External Corporate CommunicationsManage firmwide corporate messaging to the media and other stakeholders.Work with the Global Managing Partner, the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), and other senior leaders to craft firmwide messaging strategy around our corporate positioning, purpose, values, and employee value proposition, among other needs.Collaborate with the Content CoE (Centers of Excellence) on the external promotion of firmwide thought leadership.Partner with the Digital CoE on our social media strategy to external audiences.Where needed, collaborate with regional marketing teams on PR related to our services or our thought leadership in our various markets.Culture and EngagementCoordinate with the People team to drive programs (focused primarily on communications and brand-building initiatives) to improve engagement among our employees, contributing to a happy and high-performing organization.Support career services initiatives across the firm, as needed by the People team; includes creating messages and tactics to boost employee retention and productivity across all levels.Relaunch and continually reinforce our corporate purpose statement and company values.In partnership with the People team, shape internal communication strategies and the development of prospective and current employee-facing materials related to Employee Value Proposition, Diversity & Inclusion, Sustainability, company benefits, work-life balance, and/or other topics as determined by leadership.Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Human Capital, and Career Services teams to maintain consistent messaging across all recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and offboarding programs.Requirements:10+ years of relevant work experience with clear progression in roles & responsibility, including previous experience managing a team.3+ years of previous experience in a consulting firm or other professional services environment (e.g., law, accounting).A demonstrated ability to think strategically and tactically about our business needs.Demonstrated skill translating business strategies into comprehensive communication strategies, along with ability to develop clear, simple, and consistent messages and themes from complex subject matter.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; strong interpersonal and listening skills with proven collaboration capabilities.An ambitious and proactive mentality, gets things done rather than relying solely on others to get things done.Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality content across a variety of formats (e.g., print, web media, presentations, videos).Demonstrated ability to understand and collaborate with multiple, diverse stakeholders simultaneously.Proven experience working collaboratively with senior executives.Highly organized, mindful of deadlines, able to multi-task and work under limited supervision.A bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing, business, communications or related field.Competency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Drive for results.Makes decisions.Takes initiative.Simplifies the complex.Communicates powerfully and candidly.Builds credibility.Values diversity.For more information and to apply, go to

Consulting has a hybrid work model in place for our U.S. offices.In New York, the base salary is between $160,000 - $190,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level.
