All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Senior Manager, Email Marketing (Audience Relationship)Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Audience Relationship Team (ART) at Dotdash Meredith is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Audience Relationship dedicated to growing subscriptions and engagement for our Transactional (TRX) business across Dotdash Meredith's portfolio of world-class brands. The Senior Manager will own the full funnel experience from growing subscribers to the shopping experiences (newsletters, browser, SMS, etc.) to maximizing engagement that grows commerce revenue and Lifetime Value (LTV).This role will lead, manage, and analyze subscriber acquisition sources to optimize for highest LTV by spearheading the conversion strategies and partnering with vertical conversion managers and the paid marketing team. The TRX manager will manage the email and notification programs to drive commerce traffic and revenue for Dotdash Meredith's shopping newsletters as well as inclusion in other promotional messages and notifications. They will focus their efforts on strategy, planning, promotion, communication, and execution. This role will work closely with commerce team and brand editorial teams as well as vertical ART managers to execute programs that align with TRX goals and tentpoles.This position is expected to report to our downtown NYC office on a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week.Essential Job FunctionsRoadmaps : Develop roadmaps for growing shopping newsletter lists and revenue through promotions: contribute to vertical/brand roadmaps, outline growth hypotheses, execute tests, and report on results.

Tentpole Events : Partner with vertical stakeholders to develop strategies and marketing plans for commerce tentpole events like Prime Day, Black Friday, or Cyber Monday.

Analytics : Establish and present TRX+ART regular reporting to commerce and vertical stakeholders, focusing on performance, trends, and upcoming initiatives. Provide recommendations and identify areas of opportunity. Develop a deep understanding of product performance by brand and newsletter and maintain an understanding of the content strategy across brands. Evaluate LTV performance of users by source and make recommendations of where to optimize.

Growth : Manage the implementation of new growth initiatives such as:Product recommendations within email and notificationsSMS program centered around Sale Alerts or Exclusive DealsExclusive deals for select audiencesDeal Alert or Sale Alert dedicated emailsPartnering with LiveIntent on ad serving product recommendationsBrowser Notification recommendations and commerce-specific opt-in strategiesApple News Notification TRX strategyExplore a loyalty program

Project Manage : Work with design and technical resources to optimize email templates, modules, onsite marketing placements, landing pages, quizzes and other engagement elements.

Industry : Stay current on commerce-specific competitors and best practices and learn from their audience relationship strategies. Understand CAN-SPAM and other current and proposed legislation that may impact email programs.

Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees.
