Such serving will include verbal and written communication internally with staff and externally with current clients and other office support activities.60% Client/Policy ServicesProvides daily support to Account Managers and commercial insurance accounts.Responsibilities include:Preparing accurate, properly completed certificates of insurance.Confirming the existence of coverage certified; checks for and secures missing information and authorization when necessary.Completing simple change requests, checks endorsements, cancellation endorsements and audits for accuracy and relevancy.Preparing accurate, properly completed auto ID cards; processes new business and renewal certificates, auto IDs, endorsements, cancellations, and audits.Following up on direct bill late payments and keeping the Producer and Account Manager informed.Preparing renewal files and renewal kits, including ordering of loss runs and loss summaries.Learning all Commercial Lines service standards and procedures.20% File ManagementResponsibilities include documenting all correspondence, following up for necessary information updates at appropriate times, and keeping the client files organized and up to date.10% TeamworkWorks together with the team and with other departments, such as Marketing, Accounting, Claims, Producers, etc.; this includes conferencing with the Producer or Account Executive to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Volunteers will back up and/or assist other assistants as needed.10% DeterminationDisplays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization’s education program.RequirementsEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust be able to obtain insurance licenses and designations as set forth by the organization's education plans.
