marketing team within our PR and Communications department

as the

Head of UK Marketing . This role presents an exciting opportunity to take on a crucial responsibility for executing the Group Marketing strategy across UK Westfield Retail Assets and aligning the local UK priorities with the wider Group Marketing objectives.What you will be doing…This role will need to work with the Centre Management, RISE (the in-house retail media agency), and Asset Management teams as well as Group Marketing to facilitate delivery of Group and UK specific campaigns across the 2 UK iconic flagship Westfield assets and oversee the execution of the Central & Whitgift Centre marketing strategy by the third-party property manager.Develop and execute a UK specific strategy to align with the Group Marketing strategy, across core categories (Fashion, Entertainment, F&B, Families, Beauty and Sustainability).Liaise with the Group Corporate team in the executional requirements of the brand campaigns, events and digital initiatives to ensure suitability for UK assets.Work with the UK Digital & Social team to ensure alignment and inclusion of the Group digital strategy for Social, CRM and Loyalty Programme within the Centre campaigns and objectives.Support Group Marketing on the global media strategy for the year and oversee delivery in the UK.Effectively work with the Group Corporate teams to maximise value out of centre budgets.Deliver and execute the customer content strategy action plans and ensure achievement of agreed objectives with the Centre Marketing Managers and Centre Management teams.Working with Centre Management and the Lead Event Project Manager to develop placemaking and events strategy.Effectively manage and reconcile the marketing budget alongside Group Marketing and the General Managers within Centre Management.Work with the RISE team to drive income across marketing campaigns.Work with the Senior PR Manager to align marketing activity and the consumer PR strategy.Work with the Senior Insights Manager to deliver key research and data strategy for assets.Support leasing teams with the development of B2B marketing materials.Participate with asset team members in order to resolve specific marketing issues and communicate plans and results effectively.Support Director of PR & Corp Affairs with proactive engagement with external stakeholders including the Centre JV partners and third-party property management team for Centrale & Whitgift.Develop and manage the Lead Event Project Manager.What skills, experience, and knowledge will you need to be successful?Excellent communication skills at all levels.Strong experience of managing upwards and senior stakeholders.Ability & experience of developing high performing marketing and social strategies and executing tactical marketing activities.Strong external network of external brands/music/cultural organisations and the ability to broker marketing partnerships.Experience of media buying.Customer driven and focused.Ability to use initiative to meet Company objectives.Commercially aware and up to date with Retail industry news.Highly motivated team player, committed to the company culture.Operationally excellent and driven to deliver on the ground results.Why work for us:We provide an array of fantastic perks for our staff, including significant learning and development opportunities through professional qualifications, involvement in exciting business projects, and informal lunch & learns hosted by colleagues.
