The work we do here matters.Department OverviewThe Global Services organization focuses on creating and facilitating effective and strategic information among employees, teams, and management. Our aim is to keep employees and essential stakeholders well-informed, actively involved, and in sync with our strategic direction, primary goals, and key projects. Through our communications, we help build a strong organizational foundation for achieving and sustaining long-term success.Job DescriptionThis is a remote role, but the candidate selected must live within an hour's drive of the Greater Chicagoland area.We are seeking a communications professional to manage internal communications plans and programs that support the Global Services' organizational strategy, critical initiatives, and other business updates. This position reports to the Global Services Communications Manager.Scope of Responsibilities:Develop, write, and edit internal and external communications for senior leaders and key stakeholders including emails, organization announcements, blog posts, newsletters, employee engagement initiatives, etc.Own and create communication plans for key implementations.Support the development and execution of Town Halls for senior leadership, as well as ad hoc presentations.Serve as a strategic business partner to leaders, teams, and functions across the Global Services organization with a focus on building trusted relationships.Engage and partner with subject matter experts and key internal stakeholders throughout the content development process -- from capturing relevant and accurate information to translating messaging for the general employee population to coordinating reviews and approvals.Build networks across diverse cultures and geographies.Thrive in a collaborative team-based environment while also working independently.Specific Knowledge and Skills for Success:Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field4+ years of corporate communications, public relations agency, journalism, and/or marketing experienceExperience in executive communications idealMust be able to submit a strong portfolio of written work to illustrate storytelling and writing skillsKnowledge of AP style a plusExpert writing, storytelling, editing, and proofreading skillsStrong executive presence, and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organizationHighly strategic and out-of-the-box thinker - ability to be understanding, decisive, and forward thinkingSkilled at exerting influence as this role requires cross-collaboration, with the ability to obtain support from various teams.Comfortable working under tight deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously and adjusting as circumstances changeSerious commitment to excellence, quality, and attention to detailBasic graphics and video experience a plusBasic Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field of study4+ years of corporate communications, public relations agency, journalism, and/or marketing experienceTravel Requirements:
