Managing Advisor

to help lead key client projects with the nation’s most prominent healthcare brands. The work requires communications experience, excellent writing skills, and demonstrated project management experience. Managing Advisors are the day-in and day-out stewards of the client relationship and manage client planning, implementation, and reporting. The MA is responsible for driving the client team toward on-time and on-strategy completion of program deliverables and commitments.Charged with the day-to-day work of the team, the MA serves as the client team’s daily go-to person on operational direction, tactical challenges, priority alignment, and client relations support.ResponsibilitiesClient ServiceDaily client/team advisingDaily client reporting/communicationsCreate/review/edit client documentsProgram development and implementation against objectives and strategiesMonthly/weekly planning/tracking toward client objectives, including timely communications to team leadsMaintain quality, on-time deliverablesIdentify opportunities for continuous quality improvementImplement program measurement toolsExecute other tasks as assigned/neededFirm ManagementCapture and transfer best practices in key client managementActively participate in appropriate firm management meetings and/or discussionsPeople DevelopmentDemonstrate and nurture Jarrard Vision, Mission, and ValuesHelp identify qualified talent to join the team through networks, affiliations, etc.Participate in Jarrard Academy, the firm’s venue for training and developmentQualifications and Desired SkillsQualifications for this position:Bachelor’s degree3-5 years’ experience in a preferred combination of a Communications role, professional services firm (healthcare focus is preferred), public relations, and/or journalismDemonstrated experience developing, directing, and executing strategic communications programs that blend PR, content marketing, social media, and dataAbility to work remotely; office options in Chicago, IL, and NashvilleWhat you can expect from us:High-stakes work that makes healthcare betterAn inclusive and collegial workplace with understanding, innovative co-workers who care as much as you do about getting the work rightEncouragement to ask probing questions and openness to new ideasCreative problem solving alongside clients who see you as a partner, not a vendorInvestment in your growth and development via our competency-based talent development platformCompetitive pay and benefitsSalary range: $69,000-73,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
