In this pivotal role, you will enhance our digital presence and ensure that our web content not only aligns with our business goals but also meets the needs of our diverse audience.As a Senior Web Content Strategist, you will spearhead the development and execution of our online content strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to deploy effective web content and product initiatives. Your expertise in SEO-focused website copywriting, data analysis, and technical knowledge will be crucial in navigating market complexities and unlocking opportunities.What You'll Do:Lead website content projects of varying sizes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects align with the broader objectives of the firm. Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, effectively handling project communications, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.Develop and implement a comprehensive website content strategy that supports marketing initiatives, ensures content consistency with brand voice, style, and tone, and optimizes content for SEO, UX, accessibility, and legal requirements.Conduct content audits and leverage advanced analytics to assess performance, refine strategies, and enhance user engagement by interpreting web traffic metrics and user feedback.Develop and manage editorial calendars and roadmaps, work closely with partners to ensure timely execution.Utilize search engine optimization best practices to increase traffic and engagement on our digital platforms.Stay updated with industry trends and competitor strategies to ensure our content remains innovative and relevant.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior content strategists, actively guiding development and overseeing projects to ensure high-quality, consistent content that aligns with strategic goals.What You'll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in web content strategy, creation, and management, ideally within the financial services sector.Proven leadership skills with a strong track record of successfully managing and inspiring teams in a dynamic business environment.Proficient in using content management systems, conducting keyword research, and applying SEO best practices. Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a proven ability to create compelling and high-quality content.Strong communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.Demonstrated enthusiasm for and understanding of content creation and UX writing, including best practices and emerging trends.Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload.Nice to have:Experience in the development of content inventories, taxonomies, and strategies.Experience working directly on an international product or a portfolio of global websites is a plus.Experience writing for multiple marketing lifecycle touchpoints.Pay TransparencySalary Range: $135,000 - $180,000. Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes. Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
