Job Description
Design, modify, improve, & remodel cast, molded, machined, sheet-metal, welded or other parts and assemblies in SolidWorks.Complete design changes by using (ECN) engineering change process.Create and review prints for proper dimensioning, tolerancing, callouts, BOM’s and accuracy.Manage complex BOM’s to effectively implement changes across numerous product lines and SKU’s.
Qualifications
Experience designing for manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, molding, fabrication, etc.Experience in SolidWorks (or comparable CAD systems) including advanced modeling.Experience with engineering change/revision control (ECN) or similar processing of product line changes.
Bonus: Associate’s (2-yr.) degree in mechanical engineering or similar
