Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated standout colleague to join our team as the Global Head of Multimedia Solutions, based at our 50 Hudson Yards headquarters. Multimedia Solutions is BlackRock's strategic audio-visual, video, digital media, and event production partner. Our distributed team, together with our staffing providers and crewing network, produce and lead events, videos, animations, and webcasts for employees and clients.

The successful candidate will lead all aspects of Multimedia Solutions regional teams across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Must bring a background in global leadership and leading corporate multimedia teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction and leadership for the global 100+ person Multimedia Solutions team

Lead and coordinate the delivery of Multimedia Solutions across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions ensuring that all events, meetings, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Build and ensure delivery of global standard operating procedures across AV Support, Event Production, Digital Signage, Webcasting, and Broadcast Media

Lead all aspects of global resource allocation and support plans

Serve as people manager to regional leads

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior executive offices, Corporate Communications, Premier Support, Marketing, and technology teams, to ensure the successful delivery of multimedia services

Must be well informed with the latest trends and technologies in the multimedia industry, including AI and automation

Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with key collaborators, including internal clients, partner teams, and staffing vendors to ensure the successful delivery of the team

Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have proven ability in the industry working as a confident thoughtful leader (at least 15 years of experience)

Strong managerial experience with the ability to lead, develop, and empower a global team in a multifaceted environment

Proven record of leading successful corporate multimedia teams

Prior experience in the industry is required

Ideal candidates will take ownership and accountability for their work and demonstrate a passion for performance

Extensive knowledge and experience in delivering events, both in person and virtual

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people and leadership skills

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
