You’ll lead a team of senior managers, oversee project management standards, and be a champion of our safety culture. This position is ideal for a people-centric leader with a commitment to achieving results and fostering a positive work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy : Lead the operational profit center, ensuring success in safety, people management, financial goals, and customer satisfaction. Develop and execute strategies aligned with business objectives.Team Oversight : Manage senior operations managers, including overseeing compensation, performance, quality, and safety.Project Management : Ensure the team adheres to project management standards, including safety, customer relations, production, financial performance, and timely completion.Financial Management : Oversee division financials, including WIP, job cost reviews, cash flow, expenses, and profit/loss management.Solution-Oriented Guidance : Provide support and guidance on profit and loss impacts and decision-making for operation leaders.System Utilization : Fully engage with internal systems such as NetSuite, UKG, Coupa, and others.Customer Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.Safety Culture : Uphold a strong safety culture and lead by example, promoting a ZERO-accident philosophy.Culture & Engagement : Foster a culture of community, wellness, development, and inclusion.Business Acumen : Demonstrate strong business and financial acumen, taking ownership of team success, including development, engagement, and performance management.Success FactorsWillingness to travel nationwide.Commitment to safety and the ZERO-accident philosophy.Alignment with company mission, vision, and values.Strong work ethic with an ALL IN attitude.High level of customer focus and team leadership skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management and organizational skills.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve department goals.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and various project management tools and ERP systems.Generally works in a temperature-controlled environment but may encounter dust, debris, and gravel in warehouse settings. On-site work will require the use of standard safety equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety boots.Experience and EducationMinimum of 10 years of utility construction experience with strong technical knowledge of wireline installations in telecommunications.At least 6 years of multi-market business leadership experience with full P&L ownership.High School Diploma or equivalent required.We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
