Our success will be built on amazing colleagues, working together.Job OverviewThe Director, Calendar & Promotional Strategy designs the strategic framework for all seasonal events, crafting clear messaging for each event and defining the unique value proposition for customers. This role revamps existing events, imagines new ones, and collaborates with various teams to align daily sales plans and forecasts. A keen understanding of consumer behavior is crucial in shaping events that resonate with customer needs and build meaningful connections.What You Will DoDevelop a robust sales event architecture framework and calendar in collaboration with pricing and merchant teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall marketing and business objectives.Create innovative concepts for seasonal, holiday, and special promotional events.Oversee detailed sales event plans, including themes, layouts, and customer journey design.Coordinate sales messaging with in-store and digital teams to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience.Develop pricing and promotional strategies for each event.Create compelling offers that drive sales while maintaining profitability.Collaborate to prioritize company-wide strategies and determine the optimal timing for events, including messaging and placement within ongoing campaigns.Partner with Financial Planning, Pricing, and Analytics teams to craft daily sales plans and norms that align with the event calendar and media support.Establish KPIs for each event and use data insights and performance metrics to analyze the success of past events, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.Collaborate with the Digital & Customer team to develop a comprehensive enterprise personalization strategy tailored to distinct customer segments.Lead the evolution of content and messaging strategies to effectively target specific customer segments based on their needs and buying journey.Clearly and concisely brief the creative team on the strategy and priorities for each promotional event, ensuring alignment with surrounding campaign integrations.Skills You Will NeedCustomer Champion:
