Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.Job Summary:The Broadcast Automation Specialist will be at the forefront of major broadcast graphics initiatives completed by the Asset Management Operations (AMO) team. This role will work closely with AMO Leadership and Network Marketing teams to identify and solution for new features of upcoming stunts and rebrands. This process will require the Broadcast Automation Specialist to have good communication skills to gather requirements from clients, collaborate with Engineering teams for any needed product development, and be an expert in After Effects, Evertz/InetSat Overture Template Builder, and other software currently used in AMO. This position requires a highly inquisitive individual looking to stay at the font edge of technology to ensure network requests can be supported while also ensuring all new development is properly introduced into existing workflows with no loss of service, including the guidance and training for peers within the AMO team when deploying new processes or executing major initiatives.About the Job- Core Job Duties & Responsibilities:Complete Network Rebrands - identify new functionality, complete testing, provide updates.Assist in developing new functionality for graphic playout as required by client request.Coordinate with Vendors and Engineers on deployment of new functionality across all areas of Asset Management.Advise network contacts on technical specifications to ensure deliverable accuracy on all graphics received.Responsible for testing of new graphics functionality in advance of high-profile initiatives.Assist in implementation of new/revised workflow processes based on new technology integration driven by business initiatives. Cross-training coworkers and following up to ensure new processes are properly completed.Ensure Graphic Delivery workflows are properly functioning.Assist with preparation and execution of on-air initiatives pertaining to live events.Complete standard Asset Management Operations functions as necessary.Work a set 40 hour week schedule, be available 24/7 for live event or high profile stunt support.All other duties as assigned.About You- Minimum Requirements:Experience with broadcast graphics creation required.Experience with graphic transfers and management of assets in bulk required.Experience with data solutions to support Automated Continuity and/or Dynamic Graphics.Must be detail oriented and be able to work quickly and efficiently in high pressure multi-tasking situations.Must be able to develop and deploy new workflows to meet client needs for a large-scale operation.Must have strong leadership abilities and the willingness to lead by example.Must have strong communication skills and be able to effectively detail issues to both Technical and Creative groups.Must be able to work with IT, Engineering, and Traffic teams to support Automated Continuity / Dynamic graphic solutions for Cloud Playout.Must be willing to learn new software and skills as necessary to fulfill new requests.Must be flexible to support scheduling for 24/7 broadcast operations.This position is considered an essential position. This means that during times of inclement weather, emergencies, or when access to the workplace may be impeded, that employees in this position are expected to report to work to support business continuance, unless otherwise instructed by his/her direct manager.Must have the legal right to work in the United States.Software Skills:Must have working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.Operational knowledge of Evertz Broadcast Environment, Overture Template Builder (OTB), Mediator and VUE.Operational knowledge of InetSat Template Builder.Ability to use JavaScript in After Effects and OTB.Knowledge/experience with multimedia file formats (.MPG, .MOV, .WMV).Computer proficiency, strong verbal and written skills including Microsoft or Google programs (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides) are required.How We Get Things Done…This last bit is probably the most important!
