Make a Difference

The VP, Marketing and Communications leads the marketing and communications department, develops and implements marketing and communications strategies, drives growth, and supports patient and caregiver engagement. The role is accountable for all facets of the Community Health Network MarComm function including brand marketing, growth and retention marketing, content development, social media, public and media relations, crisis communications, video production, creative services, event production, internal communications, website management and solutions development. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, modern marketing science and trends, and regulatory requirements.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others across the organization, have effective communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving. They should be experienced in data-driven decision making.

Applicants for this position should also have:

Bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or related field preferred).

Minimum of 10 (ten) years of experience in strategic marketing and communications.

Minimum of 7 (seven) years of experience in business strategy, multi group collaboration and leadership.

Extensive awareness of local competition, industry trends, market driving forces, consumerism, regulations and privacy laws.

Proven expertise and demonstrated outcomes developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication plans that drive growth and retention and enhance brand awareness and consideration.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Strong project management and organizational skills.
