ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support industrial design programs with creative energy throughout the entire design and development process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business, user, and technical needs and develop compelling design concepts.

Support 3D conceptualization and development of new product and accessory industrial designs.

Develop product graphics, patterns, colors, and finishes to create products that resonate with different user segments and markets.

Engage with suppliers throughout Asia to support execution of product graphics, colors, materials, and finishes.

Communicate with design team, stakeholders, and suppliers across Asia and North America.

Create high-quality deliverables with expertise in design tools such as 3D CAD (SolidWorks), 3D renderings (Keyshot), Adobe Creative Suite, and MSFT Office.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or equivalent.

Must have 2-4+ years of recent and relevant industrial design experience.

Candidate will need to adhere to a hybrid work schedule and be located with commuting distance of Milpitas, CA or Irvine, CA offices. Please provide link to portfolio for initial review.

SKILLS:

Expert-level skills in digital tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3D renderings (Keyshot), 3D CAD (SolidWorks), and MSFT Office.

Ability to ideate, communicate, and develop industrial design concepts, including form, CMF, and graphics.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to solve problems with suppliers and engineering teams.

Ability to concurrently handle multiple projects and adhere to schedules.

Portfolio with industry experience that demonstrates the above qualifications.
