As the Director of Brand Marketing Content, you will play a crucial role in helping to shape our reputation and strengthen client development. This position leads a global team of creative professionals, with responsibility for multiple programs: McKinsey's brand content strategy and operations, brand news and copy production, organic social media, and client impact storytelling. This role is pivotal in elevating our brand presence and reputation globally, by creating and sharing compelling content about our people, our innovation, and how we deliver on our mission to create positive, enduring change.What You'll Do In this role, you will lead McKinsey's global content and storytelling strategy, ensuring we share the best stories of our people in action, our client impact and capabilities, and our firm's positive societal impact. You'll take a data-driven approach to consider needs of our audience, drive innovation across our content mix, formats, channels, and tone. You'll set the agenda for our broader marketing content approach and partner on our flagship global campaigns, enhancing market presence, shaping familiarity and consideration of McKinsey, and driving growth.You'll also lead the brand news and copy program, which acts as the editorial engine for the New at McKinsey blog, marketing pages across McKinsey.com, campaign content, social media posts, and client reference stories. In addition, you'll ensure that all content reflects McKinsey's commitment to sustainable inclusive growth and resonates with target audiences. You'll be tasked with adapting and innovating content formats and lengths based on audience insights and our content agenda.You'll direct McKinsey's organic social media program, including colleague social media activation, leading on the strategy across social media platforms, focusing on the content agenda, and driving innovation efforts in our organic social program. You will also lead our social measurement strategy, ensuring we are increasing engagement with our audience and amplifying content expressing key messages.You'll be responsible for directing client impact storytelling, partnering with firm leaders to ensure we are telling our best stories of client impact and crafting narratives that highlight our client successes and the transformative impact of our work. You'll drive continued innovation around how and where these stories are told, taking a data-driven approach to improve the pipeline and performance.Furthermore, you'll lead efforts to engage colleagues around our firm in our brand content agenda, building deep and collaborative relationships with McKinsey partners, as well as our broader Reach and Engage (marketing and communications) function, across practice areas and regions.Key functions of the role include crafting and executing global brand marketing strategies to elevate McKinsey's reputation and visibility; ensuring consistent brand messaging across platforms through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams; managing the production of diverse marketing content; analyzing market trends to identify brand growth opportunities; monitoring marketing campaign effectiveness, making strategic adjustments to achieve objectives.Qualifications
