OIC of America is seeking a dedicated and skilled Grants Writer to join our team. The Grants Writer will play a pivotal role in advancing OIC of America's mission by identifying funding opportunities, crafting persuasive grant proposals, and maintaining strong relationships with funding partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Grant Research and Identification
Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with OIC of America's programs and initiatives.
Stay informed about funding trends, grant cycles, and eligibility criteria.
Proposal Development
Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to gather relevant information for grant proposals.
Write clear, compelling, and well-structured grant proposals that adhere to application guidelines and deadlines.
Customize proposals to align with the specific goals and priorities of different funding entities.
Grant Application Management
Oversee the end-to-end grant application process, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submission.
Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar, tracking submission deadlines, reporting requirements, and follow-up tasks.
Relationship Building
Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential funding partners, including foundations, government agencies, and corporate donors.
Collaborate with the development team to explore new funding opportunities and diversify funding sources.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with grant terms and reporting requirements.
Ensure grants are implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the organization.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports, showcasing the impact of OIC of America's programs.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years of successful grant writing for non-profit organizations
Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using tools for contact information research and validation.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This role operates in a professional environment on a hybrid schedule.
The expected hours of the position are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.
