The Performance Marketing and Personalization team at Truist seeks to deliver caring and engaging communications to clients in a timely and relevant manner, enabled by a deep understanding of those clients, their needs, and their preferences. The Marketing Consultant for Consumer Card Acquisition will be responsible for leading the development and socialization of critical, cross-channel experiences that drive demand generation and fuel new account growth for the Trust Card portfolio -- leveraging client signals, advanced analytical insights, and opportunity events whenever possible. Success will require collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization to gain buy-in, and close partnership with the key partners across the enterprise, including other stakeholders within Marketing; LOB (product and channel); Analytics; Technology; Finance; Risk; and Operations. This is a highly visible role, which offers significant opportunity for innovation, creativity, and leadership. Specific activities may change from time to time.Apply a strong understanding of current and future state of card lending to anticipate, identify and act upon opportunities driven by customer trends, regulation, or competitors.Leverage data and insights to design, build and deploy impactful card marketing experiences with a customer-first approach, grounded in client needs; continuously optimize product marketing based on learnings from program results, research and insights, VOC, and industry best practices.Lead key strategic marketing initiatives focused primarily to drive new account and sales growth in an omni-channel environment.Collaborate and translate the line of business key objectives and priorities into an annual strategic marketing plan including management of the marketing budget process and allocation.Communicate, build, and manage relationships across regional and internal partners (product, marketing, risk, insights, servicing, technology, legal, line of business) to support market growth plans. Articulate to colleagues at all levels on the strategic direction, progress on execution, and results.Continually test and iterate on marketing strategies, messaging, and channels to identify optimal approach for our audience. Employ A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other experimentation techniques to refine campaign performance and ultimately improve engagement and conversion rates.Apply strong risk management practices to ensure compliant use of data and content across client facing marketing campaigns and targeting strategies.

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related trainingIn-depth knowledge and expertise of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Performance Marketing discipline.5+ years of consumer credit card or payment product marketing experience5+ years of digital acquisition marketing; Proven expertise in leveraging digital marketing channels to drive business growthKnowledge of client needs and competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the marketDemonstrated experience in developing and project managing marketing campaigns working across various partners in deliver of programs.Analytical skill, with an ability to get into the data and draw practical conclusions and insightsDemonstrated ability to "make things happen" (e.g. can execute and get things done)Strong partnership and collaborative style with outstanding communication skills: written, verbal and presentationAbility to thrive in a fluid environment with managing multiple prioritiesSuperior verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyCreative and innovativeAbility to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholdersFluent in Excel and PowerPoint, preparing presentations for senior level teammatesPreferred Qualifications:1.
