BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Senior Product Designer—UI/UX, you’ll be responsible for designing products and features that directly impact the Spectrum customer experience. You’ll design innovative solutions by collaborating with cross-functional roles and supporting features across multiple journey teams for the Self-Service Products & Platforms organization within Charter Communications. Our Senior Product Designers are heavily involved in creating innovative solutions and considered subject matter experts in not only the field of product design but also the products and features they design for Spectrum.

WHAT OUR SR PRODUCT DESIGNERS ENJOY MOST

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Bring proven knowledge of user-centered design (UCD) process methods to digital applications from concept to launch.Collaborate with product designers, content designers, product management, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.Create detailed UX concepts and UI design assets for implementation by following established design patterns.Refine and enhance wireframes and high-fidelity designs by incorporating feedback and staying current with design trends and best practices.Define, craft, and evolve the application of our design system and standards for platform-specific componentry and patterns.Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into useful and valuable product experiences.Demonstrate ability to facilitate design reviews and brainstorming sessions, as well as solicit and synthesize design feedback.Partner with the wider design team to drive cross-platform consistency.Work within cross-functional team to understand expectations, priorities, and necessary deliverables.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Experience:

Digital design experience - 5+Experience with basic prototyping and interface design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Axure, etc.) - 2Experience with project estimationExperience with planning and facilitating user research and usability tests

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Design/Art/HCI/Media/Related Field, or equivalent real world experience

Skills:

Demonstrates effective time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when neededDemonstrates effective client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)Demonstrates strong design thinking skills through creation of UX deliverables such as user flow diagrams and wireframes that solves the design problem by meeting both the business goals and ensures a positive customer experienceIn-depth understanding of UX best practicesDemonstrated ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneouslyIn-depth understanding of platform specific nomenclatureExperience with creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applications

Abilities:

Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to demonstrate UI and UX design skills via portfolioAbility to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX workAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to fully engage and collaborate with team

The base pay for this position generally is between

$88,200.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
