Experienced Proposal Writer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of compelling and compliant proposal sections and volumes for strategic bids within our organization. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of proposal responses by working closely with key stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with proposal requirements
• Take ownership of assigned volumes and guide supporting writers to meet deadlines
• Participate in solutioning sessions to elicit and articulate win themes and discriminators
• Write clear, persuasive proposal sections
• Implement process improvements to enhance proposal quality

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of professional experience or Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience
• 5 years of experience working as a proposal writer for Federal Government solicitations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong work ethic and desire to excel
• Demonstrated success in writing and leading technical, management, and past performance volumes for complex efforts
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• U.S. citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in a competitive Federal Government proposal environment
• Ability to coach and instruct others for consistency across multiple authors
