Multimedia Designer Job Description:As a member of the Corporate Communications creative team, the Multimedia Designer supports multimedia content creation through various mediums, including photo, video, animation and graphic design, among others. This role contributes to advancing creative processes and driving the creative aspects of projects across a diverse range of domains.
What you'll do as the Multimedia Designer:
Participate in driving the creative workflow, content creation, and production of final assets alongside other creative team members and project stakeholdersContribute to the conceptualization, storyboarding, planning, coordinating, editing and final delivery of multimedia contentCollaborate with various teams to brainstorm and develop creative content that resonates with target audiences and adheres to brand standards, messaging and guidelinesInspire innovation, imagination and originality when it comes to approaches for filming, video editing, and graphicsAssist with the content review process across all forms of multimedia contentSupport the management of deliverables, timelines and budgets - ensuring consistent delivery within scopeAssist in managing the internal A/V room, including assisting with setting up equipment and managing inventoryResponsible for new hire headshots including shooting, editing and delivery and archivalCreate thumbnails, edits photos for uploads, selects music and sound effects from approved sources, and prepares media files to be shared across multiple platformsMaintain and handle files in post-production workflow, understanding file formats and archival best practices
What you'll bring to the Multimedia Designer role:
Bachelor's degree in film, cinematography, photography, graphic design, marketing, or closely related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of experience working in video production, photography, graphic design and content creation requiredAbility to work independently with limited supervisionCreative problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detailDemonstrated ability to assist in directing talent and orchestrating photo/video shootsKnowledge and experience working in Adobe Premiere Pro and proficiency in the full Creative Suite (After Knowledge of Effects, Final Cut, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) along with media conversion softwareProficient knowledge of design elements and principlesSelf-driven team player with a commitment to excellenceKnowledgeable in sourcing stock images, sound and video footageOccasional travel may be necessary
