In addition, the candidate should have the following qualifications:Minimum of 3 years buying and planning experience with broadcast, cable and syndicationExperience using Strata View, SBMS, and Eleven for media planning and order management (preferred but not mandatory)Advanced proficiency of Microsoft office propertiesAdvanced understanding of Nielsen ratingsStrong understanding of local markets and how they interact with national marketsExcellent communication (written & verbal), interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skillsExperience monitoring, optimizing and posting live campaignsEffective time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentMust be detail-oriented and organizedPositive attitude, friendly demeanor and a team playerRequirementsResponsibilitiesThe Planning Strategist is responsible for the planning and management of media plans. Responsiblities include, but are not limited to:Become an expert in the entire sales and operations workflow to effectively communicate internally and externally with partners and clientsCollaborate with Sales and other internal teams to provide strategic recommendations based on client specificationsNegotiate with media partners to meet client goals and provide efficiently priced proposalsBuild strategic media plans utilizing Strata and proprietary tools, data, and researchProvide planning insight, pricing scenarios, and plan revisions as neededCollaborate with internal teams on campaign analysis and optimizationMaintain partnership database by recording all activities, transactions, and communications in real timeWork closely with Traffic, Ad Services, and Accounting departments to help in the management of accounts, including weekly reporting, traffic confirmations, and invoice reconciliationWhat we offerWe provide employees with an environment in which they can develop their skills and grow as individuals within our team.
