Description:

the SR Mechanical Designer is responsible for the preparation of

technical drawings to support the fabrication of FAA-PMA projects from design inception through

prototyping to certification. During the design process, the SR Mechanical Designer will work closely

with Project Engineering, Metrology, and Supply Chain team to become acquainted with the overall

design(s) and begin development of the technical data and documents. They are also responsible for

working with the Project Engineering team in sustainability of design product lines at times when

revisions or changes are required. The technical data and documents include but is not limited to

parametric modeling (Solidworks) from scratch or scanned geometry and manufacturing definition of

such designs via ASME Y14 compliant drawings

-Technical capacity to develop manufacturing drawings or specifications

-Detailed knowledge of aviation components and those manufacturing technologies to produce them
