MAX MSP- Building Applications for MusicThis course is a practice-based deep dive into the fundamental principles of programming techniques for musicians, with special consideration given to applications in sound design, instrument building, physical control, and interactive performance. TAC 310 uses Max/MSP for its programming language and toolkit; this is a studio music course in programming, in which the objective is music composition and performance, but the medium is student-written software.This course runs from the week of September 3rd to December 16th and will be taught

in-person on Tuesdays 12:30-2:20 .RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experienceExtensive knowledge of the subject matter and best industry practicesExpertise using Max/MSP and controllers for instrument building and live performancePreferred QualificationsCollegiate teaching experienceProfessional experience as a musicianKnowledge of multiple styles of music and sound design techniquesHow to ApplyWe prefer to receive applications through our website.
