Position Description Serco is Hiring Graphic Artists to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency Public Assistance recovery initiatives in Zone 2 across the Midwest. The Graphic Artists will consist of professional and non-professional personnel to provide support to state, tribal, territorial local governments, and some private non-profits. Serco strives to provide support quickly and efficiently to FEMA’s mission by helping those affected by man-made and natural disasters. These positions are deployment based and you must be willing and able to deploy anywhere in Zone 2.

To be successful in this role, you will have:5 years minimum of prior Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) experienceBachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field and 5 years of experience in a related field; OR 10 years of experience in graphic design or in a related fieldExperience with graphics creationDemonstrated knowledge and experience in recovery arenaAn adult learning background and experience1-2 years of experience providing training supportThe ability to obtain and maintain FEMA Public TrustA United States CitizenshipThe ability to maintain FEMA specific trainingsStrong Microsoft Office Skills, excellent written and oral communication skillsThe ability to deploy to any location in zone 2 with a 24–48-hour notice after Task Order AwardThe ability to go on 6–12-month deployments at a minimumExperience and comfortability using a smart phoneThe ability to work independently, in a team environment and under stressful conditions with tight deadlinesAdditional desired experience and skills:Knowledge of the FEMA Public Assistance Program/PolicyTrained in the Public Assistance delivery model preferredActive FEMA badgeIf you are interested in supporting and working with our FEMA efforts, then submit your application now for immediate consideration.
