Primary Purpose

Fanatics Commerce sells over 30 million products cutting across apparel, hard goods, trading cards, memorabilia, and others. These are a combination of products created in-house, purchased and sold from inventory, or in partnership with drop-shippers.

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to own the product strategy and build-out of products that drive overall promotional effectiveness across our business. In addition, they would drive the creation of promotional capabilities for our site merchants to operate, build recommendation engines for decisioning, and enable AI/data-driven tools to automate the application of the right promotional levers using real-time signals to balance consumer demand, inventory levels, and business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Define the product strategy for promotional effectiveness capabilities in partnership with our Business Management and Buyer teams.

Set and manage the product roadmap, ensuring it is well-groomed and makes progress towards the product strategy and vision.

Form a rich set of insights through conducting quantitative analysis both on your own and also in collaboration with data scientists and web analysts.

Manage prioritization of product features and make critical trade-offs balancing customer experience, delivery complexity and business value.

Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into user stories and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features and updates.

Monitor product performance and key metrics, and iterate on features and experiences to optimize promotional effectiveness.

Work closely with Business Management and Buyer teams to identify opportunities for automation and new capabilities.

Education and Experience Requirements

8+ years of experience in software product management.

4+ years working on pricing and promotional capabilities.

MBA/ related credentials strongly preferred.

Demonstrated fluency in promotional levers in an ecommerce context.

Demonstrated fluency of P&L and inventory trade-offs.

Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and make tradeoffs.

Experience partnering with Data Science to solve problems.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, effectively translating business objectives and customer insights into tangible and actionable product plans.

A keen eye for detail, ensuring every aspect of product development aligns with stakeholder requirements and user expectations.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.

Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in-office a minimum of three days a week.

The expected salary range for this role is $180,000 - $225,000. This is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for the Fanatics Commerce annual bonus program and an equity award. This salary range is listed in USD and will be determined in part by a successful candidate’s geographic location.
