will be seeking an experienced

Production Line Project Manager & Design / Industrialization Manager

responsible for leading construction of a large battery manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to take the initiative and drive activities with limited supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the construction industry.

Job Details:

Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.

Financial management – Ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilizing Financial system to monitor a project’s financial status.

Project planning, including producing the detailed project plan.

Work with and overseeing the A/E firms on design evolution and drawing reviews.

Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.

Work with the general contractors on procurement bid package reviews, recommendations, order submissions, tracking and invoice approval.

Preparing formal project budget progress and other reports.

Monitor project schedule and work with the general contractor to meet milestones and Job 1 timing.

Quality Control – Ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Review Safety incidents & corrective action follow-up

Work with GC to manage Field authorization request (FAR) process.

Identifying opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.

Assist the client with alternative funding source acquisition.

Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues.

Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project.

General line management responsibilities (where appropriate) are effectively discharged.

Qualifications:

Construction project management experience and the ability to be highly effective in a client facing role.

College degree in Construction Management or a related field, and PMP certification.

Membership in relevant professional organizations.

Experienced managing demanding stakeholders and work stream managers.

Field experience a plus.
