IMG is a subsidiary of Endeavor, a global sports and entertainment company.IMG Action Sports is seeking a Consumer Marketing Manager (MM) to assist in the management and implementation of all marketing and promotional campaigns for two (2) marquee events within the Action Sports portfolio – Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and US Open of Surfing.The MM will contribute to existing marketing programs across the division’s event portfolio, while assisting with the development of new initiatives to align with brand and consumer revenue goals set by the BU, client and/or company. This includes revenue generation and sales support. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including PR/communications, advertising, creative development and event branding, digital marketing, and social media. The MM will be expected to attend and participate in briefings and strategy sessions with internal and external stakeholders.The role will report to the Vice President, Action Sports and have a dotted line to the Global Consumer Marketing team. The candidate must be organized and a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects at once while meeting tight deadlines; demonstrate a strong proficiency with key role competencies including exceptional communication and project management skills, strong cross-team collaboration abilities, and the ability to work as a part of an extended team. This is an ever-changing environment so flexibility, resourcefulness, and strategic influencing are essential.Objectives of this Role:Assist in the development and implementation of the brand strategy across all events in the Action Sports portfolio.Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals while identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation for the overall division.Prepare and develop marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring event campaign success.Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends.Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including brand creative and style guides, credentials database, tracking capability, global contact directory, digital assets (websites, social media) and customer service / info box.Further knowledge and sharing of best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team.Responsibilities:Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to create marketing strategy and plan for all events.Work closely with event team and the Consumer Marketing team in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars/timelines.Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales team, and provide instructions for use or promotion.Ability to create marketing budgets and manage P&L.Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership.Work closely with the BU head, Event Director, and Event Manager (EM) to manage and oversee consumer registration (as needed). This includes strategic outreach, revenue and customer service.Work closely with the creative team on all brand marketing assets and style guides needed for the event/project. This includes brand logo/id creation, style guides, usage guidelines, etc.Work closely with Endeavor Corporate Communications and external PR and Communications teams on overall PR messaging and strategy.Execute marketing and/or promotional campaigns and deliverables for all events.Develop a content strategy and manage a content team to support events and projects that include:

Create marketing and analytics reports related to the performance of all events and/or projects to assist with KPIs, etc.Assist with creating and compiling post event recaps and event evaluations.Assist the sales and partnership team in executing any marketing deliverables across each project.Oversee and manage BTL marketing and social team.Maintain centralized directory and inventory of marketing support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed with the creative team. This includes:

Creative – Logos, Usage Guidelines, Style GuidesContent – Photos, B-Roll, FilmCommunications & PR – PR and key messaging, Releases, Assets for Media

Work closely with event team to support sales or sponsorship procurement and/or fulfillment across all properties. This includes managing both inbound and outbound partnership, sponsorship, and licensing requests.Support VP in sales or business development pitch meetings.Work closely with the VP and Consumer Marketing team to produce and manage marketing pitch decks for the division as well as specific Action Sports properties, owning materials and making changes as projects evolve.Qualifications:Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.Must be able to write with a given audience in mind, keeping communication clear and concise with an established brand voice. Writing sample and sample of previous work will be requested.Good creative eye and/or content strategy capabilities.Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.Related experience either at an agency or brand level, with demonstrated success in consumer marketing, social media strategy, community building and management.Self-starter with strong organizational skills.An entrepreneurial spirit who can think proactively and identify new opportunities.Must be able to offer optimization suggestions based on community dialogue and participant engagement.Experience working with budgets and forecasting.Must possess the ability to multi-task and frequently adjust to changing priorities and timelines in a fast-paced working environment.Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds.Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.Working knowledge of website design and email software.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications.Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint.Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator experience preferred.Endeavor unites and brings people together in our love of sport, culture, and entertainment.
