As the Art Lead, you will work closely with a top-notch team (including game designers, technical artists, and programmers) to help develop the artistic vision of the game, set up and optimize our overall art pipeline, and guide a growing art team as the project expands.

Set the team’s development objectives and conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with team members to assist them with their career paths.Lead and develop the art team, providing constructive feedback, training, and coaching for both internal and external partners.Foresee potential risks for the project and team, supporting the Art Director/Producer with evaluation and mitigation.Collaborate closely with the production team to identify and explore new business opportunities from global insights, achieving a unified vision for product value development and revenue growth goals.Team up with art discipline leads to help scope and schedule the desired work, fostering and communicating the vision to the team. Build and maintain dependency-driven asset schedules to ensure successful, on-time release of content to meet the Game Art Quality bar.Be responsible for final delivery and quality control in accordance with the project's artistic direction, technical restrictions, and deadlines.Create a friendly and constructive working environment for cross-team collaboration, ensuring a productive internal workflow and beneficial relationships with internal/external partners.In collaboration with the Art Director/Producer, evaluate staffing requirements and participate in the artists’ recruitment process.What you bring:

Demonstrated leadership in independently managing and running a healthy and productive art development pipeline.Craft expertise for artistic benchmarks and asset creation/production for premium content and thematic updates.Up-to-date knowledge of design trends and the monetization aspects of video games.Ability to conduct and communicate competition and market watch to stay on the edge of the industry’s monetization practices and trends.Requirements:

Minimum 4+ years of game development experience, with 1+ years of management experience, and a core lead credit in at least two successfully shipped games.Proven expertise in the monetization aspect of video games is preferable.Ability to work in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary, iterative environment while delivering under deadlines and time constraints.Deep understanding of art fundamentals (lighting, composition, architecture, anatomy, proportion, etc.), artistic culture (photography, movies, books, comics, etc.), and video game culture.Strong eye for global market trends, player behavior, and international aesthetics.Strong interest in game and game development, with extensive understanding of games across multiple genres and platforms, and working knowledge of industry-required art software.Talent for promoting vision and methodologies while inspiring and coaching others.Mastery of diverse art styles, open-mindedness, and receptiveness to new ideas and fresh perspectives.Location:

CaliforniaThe base pay range for this position in California is $135,500 to $247,750 per year. Actual pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as other medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the specific position offered.Work Mode:
