CMC has a population of over 2.7 million people and is home to the Baltimore Orioles MLB, the Baltimore Ravens NFL, and the Navy Midshipmen. CMC's Education Foundation has invested over $1,000,000 in scholarships for STEM, vocational school, and “First Generation” activities.We focus on advocacy for small business, economic development, and promoting and connecting member businesses. Key Responsibilities This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Marketing & Sales. The Director of Marketing & Sales will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, taskforce, prospective/new members, sales operations, providing excellent customer service, leading and developing volunteers, and driving business development efforts. The role will be based in Odenton, MD. (Location subject to change)
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Advanced in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.Sales and Business Development skillsExperience in sales operations and customer serviceStrong volunteer management and leadership abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM softwareAbility to analyze data and make strategic decisionsExperience in the chamber of commerce or nonprofit sector is a plusBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Benefits 20% commission on all new members that they recruit and convert into a member. Membership levels start at $365-$15,000.
