Marketing Data Analyst

As a member of the Marketing Performance Measurement team, this individual will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of a data-driven culture. This role will work closely with partners across teams and business units to integrate and leverage disparate data sources to unlock valuable insights that inform our strategy and demonstrate marketing performance against business priorities.

We are in the early stages of building a performance measurement team and seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in establishing the foundational infrastructure for data-driven marketing insights.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify marketing data requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and establish processes for data collection and integration.Collect, clean, and organize marketing data from various platforms, including websites, social media channels, email marketing tools, and digital advertising platforms.Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows to ensure seamless integration of marketing data into our analytics systems.Conduct comprehensive analysis of marketing data to uncover actionable insights, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns.Perform data segmentation and profiling to support targeted marketing efforts, audience targeting, and personalization.Create visually compelling data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and present them to stakeholders.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their marketing data needs and provide analytical support for the development of marketing strategies.Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance practices for marketing data, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and compliance with regulations.Stay up to date with the latest marketing analytics techniques, tools, and platforms to drive innovation and enhance our digital marketing capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline.4+ years' experience as a Data Analyst or Marketing Analyst, with a focus on digital marketing analytics and platforms.Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Google Analytics, Google Ads, PowerBI, Tableau or similar platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex marketing and sales data.In-depth knowledge of marketing analytics concepts, including web analytics, social media analytics, email marketing analytics, and digital advertising metrics.Familiarity with data management principles, including data governance, data quality, and data integration specific to marketing data.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving organization, displaying flexibility and a willingness to learn new marketing analytics tools and platforms.
