Full TimeOverview Amyx is seeking to hire an eDiscovery (Functional) Specialist to support the Defense Logistics Agency in the Washington, DC area. The Functional Specialist (Video Reviewer) serves to analyze video files for litigation, investigation, and FOIA cases and provide all the video review support required to meet specific needs of the cases supported using Veritone. He/she shall be responsible for the disassembling, repairing and reassembling audio and video media to meet specified needs. This includes analysis to determine if a video has experienced tampering or exploitation. Customize programs and applications to manage, retrieve, and manipulate video data to meet the specific needs of the cases supported and analyzes complex application problems involving all phases of system analysis to provide resolution. Understands application behavior in on-premises data centers and virtual environments to fully utilize the benefit of video review technologies and provides expert advice on best practices.Responsibilities

Process a variety of video formats into DLA's provided video review software (Veritone).Review collected video files in Veritone and generate detailed reports of events that occurred.Interpret the metadata within a video file to make determinations about the timing of the events as they occurred naturally.Redact recorded content that is not related to litigation or is private/confidential.Perform forensic video enhancement of video recordings to improve speech quality of low-level sounds establishing the integrity of video evidence through authentication and video analysis of recordings.Form and articulate expert opinions based on analysis and report findings.Provide expert testimony in depositions, trials, and other proceedings.Interprets and documents examination results in a variety of analytical and/or narrative reports, which may include investigative analyses, findings, and recommendations.Provide an enhanced copy of the original video along with enhanced demonstrative exhibits of the events.Team members may be required to testify in court or provide affidavits on processes and procedures that lead to specified conclusions.Supported Technologies:

Required:Five years relevant experience in forensic video review required.BS or BA degree or four (4) additional years of related experience.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical/critical thinking skills.Knowledge of governance and storage of Electronically Stored Information (ESI) that is collected or copied from native locations in compliance with federal laws including E-Government Act and Privacy Act.Expertise in governing information pursuant to industry standards.Ability to obtain IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).Desired:Experience working with VeritoneTechnical versatility within the eDiscovery fieldActive Security Clearance (preferred)Experience responding to FOIA requestsDepartment of Defense experience helpfulVeritone platform certificationPossession of a Law Enforcement & Emergency Services Video Association (LEVA) certification or an equivalent certification from another organization may substitute for the required experience.Salary:
