Then we want to meat you.The OpportunityChomps is continuing to grow and looking to add a Creative Operations Manager to our team. As Chomps builds out the in-house Creative Team we are looking to add a Creative Operations Manager to evolve our project management and production capabilities. Based on the needs of this role, the ideal candidate is a hybrid between project manager and producer. This role will help manage and organize project requests and timelines. The ideal candidate understands file specs, production requirements, and can easily analyze and understand the specific requirements unique to every project. The in-house Creative Team produces work for Chomps across all channels and touch points. The work is very diverse and can include print, digital, photo & video content, event & retail activations, packaging, swag, and much more. This role will also lead the shoot production for photography, video, and all other content productions. These shoots will range from smaller product photography shoots up to larger TV and online video productions. Short, snackable and relevant social content is also a big priority at Chomps. This type of content can require scrappy shoots and social creators on tight timelines, so the ideal candidate is someone who is up for the challenge if these types of content opportunities present themselves. Chomps is always looking for new and dynamic ways to activate and bring the brand to life, so we're looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and is up for the challenge of bringing "never-before-done" ideas to life. The in-house Creative Team is small but mighty team, so this role will be very hands on and involved in everything.The JobThe Creative Operations Manager will be responsible for two main areas - strategizing and managing the creative workflow processes and operations for the Chomps in-house Creative Team, while also planning and leading shoot production across photography, videography, and other content productions.

It will also lead the development of schedules, timelines, and deadlines associated with smaller quick turn projects, evergreen brand assets, as well as larger seasonal and equity brand campaigns. This role will also need the ability to manage and negotiate contracts and terms with outside vendors to execute video and other content needs.The ideal candidate is a hyper organized, proactive problem-solver, and confident communicator with an incredible attention to detail. You thrive on being self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects.ResponsibilitiesCreative Project ManagementResponsible for planning, organizing, managing, and overseeing the execution of creative projects from conception to completion in partnership with the Creative Director.Manage weekly workflow of the creative team, including copywriters and art directors, to ensure bandwidth is properly managed and balanced throughout the team and competing priorities.Oversees briefing in Monday project management, to ensure projects contain all relevant information needed for the creative team to execute - proof-reading briefs to ensure all edits and comments are addressed and completed correctly on designed projects.Build schedules and timelines for creative deliverable campaigns, including but not limited to print, digital, sale promotions, seasonal campaigns, retail activations, swag and physical item creations, content and miscellaneous creative requests.Act as a primary communicator between the creative team (art directors & copywriter) and marketing team (brand, retail, sales, e-commerce), to coordinate timelines, gather information needed, and enforce deadlines and problem solve in an efficient and professional manner.Works closely with Creative Director to assign tasks to team and manage freelance/contractor workflows.Manage and nurture external creative vendor relationships and resources regarding deadlines and budget needs.Develop and manage campaign timelines and all creative briefs, in Monday – for larger campaigns build out any additional documents or tools necessary for success.Actively work to lead and support the team by facilitating ongoing communication in weekly updates to keep the team focused on delivering results and aware of any shifting priorities or requirements.Organize, attend, and lead kick-off and status meetings with key players to ensure that project needs and deadlines are being met and send a clear and concise recap of next steps.Proactively and consistently conceive of, define, and develop process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity across the creative team as well as cross-functional teams.Shoot ProductionWork with the Creative Director and extended creative team (art directors & copywriter) to bring the vision of a shoot to life, considering creative direction scope, budget parameters, and larger cross-functional project timelines when organizing production.Scope creative production requirements within projects and plan production timelines accordingly.Sourcing, booking, and coordinating contractors for shoots (photography, video, additional content production).Develops all cost estimates, manages freelance recruitment NDAs, contract negotiations and partner on-boarding.Manage budgeting and seek to optimize costs and scale creative production.Be the main source of contact for all production vendors.Organize post-production with partners (retouching, color correction, outsourced video editing, etc.) and the review and delivery of asset schedule.Sample coordination and organization with internal/external partners, to ensure correct product is in place.Responsible for maintaining and managing creative budget, in partnership with Creative Director.Who You Are4+ years of experience in creative operations management and production in-house or at a creative agency.4+ years of creative project management experience.Proven ability to handle multiple projects at once, adapting quickly to changing priorities and project scopes in a fast-paced environment.Comprehensive knowledge of the creative process, from creating and receiving project briefs, creative development, review, and approvals, as well as understanding scope and budget.Experience with photo and video production with an understanding of the production process and needs.Experience with project management methodologies, workflows, and tools.Highly organized with strong communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to solve problems and take initiative to identify information needed by design and copywriting teams to complete tasks efficiently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project manager software.
