Reports to: Director of Talent Development-Americas

Location: Americas HQ in Irving, TX

Work on site American Regional Headquarters in Irving, TX 75039. Fridays are remote.Main Accountabilities

Training Program Development and Management• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for various employee groups.• Ensure training programs align with company goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.• Regularly assess and update training content to reflect changes in company policies, procedures, and technological advancements, incorporating continuous improvement and innovation practices.

Instructional Design• Create engaging, interactive, and effective training materials using a variety of instructional techniques, such as e-learning, in-person workshops, simulations, and on-the-job training.• Utilize instructional design theories, practice, and methods to create a range of instructional materials and learning modules.• Develop assessment tools to measure training effectiveness and ensure knowledge transfer.• Leverage technology to enhance learning experiences and program delivery.• Stay update-to-date on industry trends and best practices in training and instructional design.

Leadership and Team Management• Lead, manage, and provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to training staff.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the training team.• Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and instructional design.

Compliance and Quality Assurance• Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.• Develop and implement quality assurance processes to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.• Address compliance issues and provide solutions to mitigate risks.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration• Work closely with senior management, HR, and other key stakeholders to identify training needs and develop strategic training initiatives.• Act as a liaison between the training department and other departments to ensure seamless integration of training programs.• Present training program outcomes and updates to executive leadership.

Data Analysis and Reporting• Collect, analyze, and report on training program data to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.• Utilize data to make informed decisions about training program adjustments and resource allocation.• Prepare and present detailed reports on training metrics, ROI, and impact on business performance.• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices in data analysis and reporting.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in training and instructional design, preferably hospitality, or food service industries.Proven track record of designing, developing and managing successful training programs.Experience leading and managing a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS)Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Certified Instructional Designer (CID) are a plus.Strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation in training programs.Ability to leverage technology to enhance learning experiences and program delivery.Must be able to work onsite in our American HDQ in Irving, TX 75039. No relocation available for this position.Travel 50% - 75%.in the US.
