Database Marketing Coordinator- Casino Marketing

OverviewThis position is responsible for assisting in the preparation, design, execution, and analysis for email marketing, direct mail campaigns, and other marketing programs as assigned.
This position will also assist the marketing teams in validating data proofs for direct mail campaigns and other promotions as assigned.
Develops strong accountable working relationships with internal departments, as well as, outside vendors to coordinate all direct mail campaigns.
Shift: M-F 8AM-5PM (Flexible schedule needed occasionally)
Responsibilities
Responsible for database integrity (process returned mail, merging/linking accounts, archiving accounts, data cleansing, NCOA, etc.).
Assist in the planning and implementation of direct mail programs which includes creating offer codes for all invites and mailers.
Assist in the planning and implementation of casino kiosk promotions and drawings.
Assists with comp reversals and redeeming of offline coupons from various outlets.
Work closely with all areas of marketing and Information Technology staff to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues of concern.
Work closely with Monarch Rewards Desk and VIP Hosts on guest-related inquiries.
Work closely with Marketing on the planning and implementation of direct mail and email marketing, including proofreading all invites and any relevant collateral.
Process direct mail invoices and postage check requests.
Responsible for the strict adherence to Compliance policies, internal control procedures, and the Casino’s policies and procedures.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old
Nevada Gaming Registration Required
Gaming Industry Experience is Preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office Professional software applications, including but not limited to Word, and Excel. Microsoft SQL Server is preferred but not required.
Knowledge and experience with Slot Player Tracking, Casino Management, and Casino marketing systems preferred.
Practical knowledge in accumulating and integrating data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
Proven experience in the use of computer systems including database systems, software, data retrieval methodologies, and quantitative analysis.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong customer service orientation.
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiasm and positive attitude
Casino-related work experience and/or training with a college degree in Marketing, Database, or Development preferred. A combination of experience and education will be considered
