Description

Responsible for the overall growth and defining key business measures and objectives for the university's websites and online marketing. Develop long-term strategic goals for online marketing and communications and provides oversight of the digital user experience.

Oversees enterprise marketing technology solutions including the content management system (CMS); provide direction in day-to-day operations to staff in development and maintenance of CMS tools and templates that support the internal-users and provide a positive user-experience for external visitors.Serves as the primary point of contact for online marketing initiatives to ensure growth of UH brand.Establish and build relationships, with cross-functional marketing teams to develop a centralized web marketing plan and make improvements to the overall user-experience.Leads the team in establishing processes to track quantitative and qualitative results of online campaigns, events, and other programs; interprets results and adjusts approach to maximize engagement and ROI.Conducts website user and customer surveys/demographic research. Identify, evaluate and recommend online marketing opportunities in line with Division objectives.Manage third party contractors and vendors to ensure projects and tasks are completed on time and on budget.Present and conduct group discussions on online marketing strategies and promoting user-experience for a broad range of internal audiences.May research, write, and edit content for web pages as needed.Performs other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications

Bachelors and 5 years experience

Education: Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience and a strong track record for leading cross-functional teams.
