Overview: Role

As Interior Designer & Procurement Lead you will manage all aspects of our design process for upcoming developments from concept, to procurement, and final installation. . Ideally, you have a strong point of view and experience working with a luxury brand or hospitality company. You come with a project management mindset and can assist wherever needed. You have a passion for bringing a business to life through creative and experiential design. You are self-driven and an excellent communicator with the ability to work across multiple departments and develop strong relationships.

As Lead, you should have significant experience working with environmental design with a background in interiors and procurement . You are successful using software and illustration tools (ie. Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, etc.) a familiarity with copywriting, and exceptional capability with typography, layout, and prototyping. Like our team, you should be customer- and brand-focused and naturally curious about new ways to help grow our new business and make our systems more efficient over time.

Design Responsibilities:Assist in the interior design process of our physical retreats as needed to ensure all pieces represent our visual brand standards appropriatelyCreate a high volume of presentation decks for the Development team to provide to potential owners and investorsDevelop product diagrams/renderings/sketches for future RetreatsDesign additional visual materials and creative assets for both corporate and property teamsCreate brand standards and direction for property teams when working with brand collateral or visualsCreate treatments and look & feel directions with cohesive visual directionProcurement Responsibilities:

Vendor Management:

Identify, select, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for interior design materials, furnishings, and fixtures.Sourcing:

Research and source high-quality materials, products, and finishes that align with the design vision and project requirements.Negotiation:

Negotiate favorable pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors.Purchasing:

Place purchase orders for materials and ensure timely delivery.Inventory Management:

Track inventory levels and coordinate storage and logistics.Budget Management:

Monitor procurement costs and ensure they align with the project budget.Sustainability:

Research and select sustainable materials and products whenever possible.Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all procurement activitiesDesired Skills and Experience:

Minimum 2 years' experience in design role with responsibilities overseeing development of new hotel openingsExperience working at either a design or architecture firmMust have a passion for what we are building, the brand, hospitality, the outdoors, and the guest experienceProven working experience with diagrams/renderings/sketchesThorough knowledge of design principles, process, and timelinesExperience with creating and managing design budgetsProficiency in sketchup, lumion or other render generation programsExcellent design software user and administration skills. Significant experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects. Illustrator, Premier and Animate) Keynote, Google Suite, and PowerpointExcellent communication and presentation skills, highly organized, exceptional attention to detail, strong and proven project management capabilities and ability to multi-taskHighly organized and self-motivated with a proven ability to multi-task across multiple complex projectsPast experience in a luxury brand, hospitality company or startup is highly desired. Strong interest in building a company (including new processes and systems) from the ground up. Comfortable managing through ambiguity and working with limited dataAble to work remotely when necessary and willingness to travelHard-working team player with a positive, can-do attitudeRequirements for Employment:
