BusinessDevelopment

Developing and building a new marketing team in the US and selecting agencies to achieve US sales targetsCross-functional collaboration with teams in the US and Europe to align marketing efforts with business objectives

Strategic and operational marketing

Lead the development of a US go-to-market strategy for Retarus' cloud messaging productsDevelop and implement US-based marketing plans in close collaboration with senior management and product managementAnalyze market trends and competitive activity and identify potential customers and channel partnersMonitor the effectiveness and optimize marketing campaigns and initiatives

Lead generation and events

Responsibility for and implementation of marketing events to maximize ROIDesign and execute lead generation campaigns through appropriate channels such as SEM/SEO digital, email, events and social mediaDefining and piloting US marketing to create new sales opportunities to grow existing customer businessPlanning, organizing and executing industry events to promote the brand, brand awareness and value proposition

Digital marketing and corporate identity

Oversee Retarus online presence, producing and ensuring consistent, relevant and engaging content across all channels together with external agenciesEnsure a globally consistent brand message and visual identity

What you'll need

Experience

Solid experience in working with global and local technology companiesDeep knowledge in positioning products in a highly competitive market, in best case in the cloud and/or messaging sectorBroad experience with the successful market launch of technology products in the USA

Capabilities

Excellent leadership skills to hire, inspire and manage good talents for a thriving work environmentExperience in managing agenciesHands-on mentality to realize marketing and sales goals.Excellent communication and presentation skills with a well-established standing for listening, collaborating and making informed decisionsResident in NJ, with occasional travel of up to 50%

Knowledge

Ideally a good understanding of the software and telecommunications sectorAwareness of local market dynamics in the cloud sectorFamiliarity with customer issues in the corporate sector, particularly in healthcare, banking/insurance, manufacturing and retailExisting industry relationships and networks are a great advantage
