Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking aUser Experience (UX) DataResearch Scientistto join our growing User Experience Design (UXD) team. The user is at the core of everything we do here at Lenovo and yourexpertiseis needed to help bring the voice of the customer into the design process.

In this role, youwillidentifydata-driven insightsto improve the experience for all Lenovo users.You will own workstreams and use yourexpertiseto guide the business throughambiguous and complex scenarios.Using a variety of primary and secondary research and analysis, you will be an advocateandleverageyour storytelling to influence stakeholders and help teams create industry-leading user experiences for all.

This role will involve close collaboration with user experience designers, researchers, data scientists, product developers, product managers, engineers, and executives throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize advanced analytics, statistical models, and data visualization techniques to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Create andmaintaininteractive dashboards to track user experience metrics and visualize user behavior patterns.

Establish andmaintainstandard operating procedures tomaintaindata qualityfor voice of customer tools.

Propose and executeunique analysis spanning multiple data sets toidentifybusiness relevantinsights for stakeholders.

Conduct quantitativeandother primaryresearch to gather insights into user behaviors, needs, and motivations.

Collaborate with UXand CXproduct managers, and engineers to integrate research findings into design and development processes.

Communicate researchand dataanalysis,findings,and recommendations toexecutivestakeholders through clear, compelling reports and presentations.

Mentor less experienced members of the team and foster a data driven culture.

Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in UX research, data science, and human-computer interaction.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s orMaster’sdegree in human-Computer Interaction, Psychology,Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science,Data Science, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in UX research, data analysis, or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL) and UX research methodologies.

Expertisein standard data visualization and dashboarding tools, Power BI preferred.

Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experiencebuilding and implementingmachine learning algorithms.

Experience owning and managing data in an enterprise environment (preferred)

Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills.

Organizationally savvy, withdemonstratedability to influence leaders andfacilitatealignment and clear decision-making.

Passionate advocate for the customer.

A portfolioand/or examplesshowcasingpreviousresearch projects and their impact on product design.
