The Senior Director, Global Lottery Communications plays a critical role in developing and executing the company's global external communications strategy. This person will manage a team of two and work closely with many internal stakeholders and cross-functional groups to develop stories that drive shareholder value and reinforce the company's leadership in global lottery and sustainability.
The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in development and execution of media relations strategy and have the demonstrated ability to draft a variety of media-focused documents including news releases, holding statements, executive talking points, in addition to social posts, customer letters, company reports, and more. This person will play an integral role in driving crisis communications and reputation management strategy and must be adept at providing high-level strategic communications counsel and serving as a company spokesperson.Qualifications
Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, have a solutions-oriented approach and possess exceptional written and interpersonal communications skills. This position is based in Providence, Rhode Island.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Journalism, Communications or related disciplineMinimum 12 years' experience in public relations or corporate communicationsExperience working at a publicly traded company and/or in a highly regulated industryAbility to craft compelling narratives and present complex ideas to a variety of audiencesProven experience managing media relations and crisis communications.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to business challengesStrong leadership skills and experience managing people, with the ability to effectively coach, develop and manage a high-performing communications teamAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, handling multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be able to collaborate with team members across disciplines and produce consistently excellent communications counsel and content; this is a hands-on position that produces work independentlyExecutive presence, and demonstrated strong capability in presenting convincingly to high-level executives and partnersKeys to Success

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $154,258 - $250,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses . In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
