Description

A Lead Designer is a primary project team member who takes ownership over design discipline-specific work on projects to help create enduring brand love through expertise and leadership.Consistently creates complex, original design concepts, and oversees and coordinates production of deliverables.Responsible for refining design iterations for projects.Delivers against the strategic and values.Develops creative approaches in accordance with our brand identity and design principles.Balances creative excellence and brand standards with the needs of the business owner and communication objectives.Collaborates frequently with other departments (e.g., Strategy, Insights, Project Management, Brand Management, Business Units, and Marketing) to ensure project success.A Lead Designer begins to act as the practice expert in relationships, often cultivating a meaningful rapport of trust and credibility.Conceptualizes, plans, produces and/or refines a diverse range of creative ideas/concepts, specialized graphic and/or illustrative material for team consideration against the set strategic brief.Owns and is accountable for assigned projects and will manage all aspects of the assignment, team, contractors, the creative work, and presenting.Owns and is accountable for assigned projects/brands and will manage all aspects of the assignment, team, the creative work, and presenting.Pro-actively manages up with the practice leads and leadership to provide insight and feedback on project status and their work.Communicates effectively verbally as well as visually, presenting design rationale during internal/external presentations/critiques.Accountable for a variety of assigned projects and multiple teams while understanding deadlines and budgets and maintaining quality of output.Qualifications :

BFA/BS (or equivalent experience) in design.Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills while leadingMinimum of 3-7 years of related experience in design.Technical and software skills related to the discipline.Ability to draw or represent design thinking using the traditional design tools, including hand skills.Thinking strategically as well as aesthetically.Effective visual, verbal, and written communication skills.Knowledge of design and proficiency in design software: Adobe Creative suite, Animation, and After-Effects.Design systems experience.Multi-channel digital first experience.
