Marketing Assistant – Farm AnimalMain purpose of position:

The Marketing Assistant provides marketing and administrative support to business Unit.

Day to day responsibilities include:



Attend all business unit marketing team meetings and CMO meetings.•

Marketing projects as assigned•

Coordination with relevant agency projects•

Coordination of copy approval process through PromoMats•

Sales force support•

Industry Tradeshow/National Sales Meeting (NSM) that include.

➢ Behind the scenes logistics➢ Compile list of attendees➢ Gather hotel check-in/check-out info➢ Make hotel reservations.➢ Purchase event badges➢ Reserve meeting space/order food and beverage for meetings➢ Order marketing detailers➢ Order promo material (shirts, pens, notebooks)➢ Coordinate with marketing and technical groups on agenda.➢ Provide sales rep support regarding programs.



Provide basic administration needs for marketing team (calendar, travel, meeting prep, collaboration site issues, shipping items, finding meeting rooms, expense reports)•

Contracts•

Marketing Material Maintenance•

Main point-of-contact for all beef/dairy events with event partner, Positive Energy. This includes kicking off events/tradeshows with Positive Energy to determine our needs, as well as following through with them throughout the entire planning process. We partner on updating graphics with Positive Energy as well•

Tracking invoices and OPEX budget of all individual events/sponsorships•

Creating, planning, and owning the “Know Before You Go” presentations and documents. This involves creating a Word Doc or PPT about what the attendees of a given tradeshow can expect. Schedule and run the entire call for all attendees. This also involves working with the agencies and Positive Energy directly to ensure all of their information is captured.•

Point-of-contact for all major beef and dairy events. Communicate directly with the vendors/reps of that event (ex: NCBA, AABP Annual Conference and Recent Grad, World Dairy, World Ag, etc.). This involves signing contracts, ensuring payments are made on time and sponsorship requirements are fulfilled, selecting booth locations, etc.•

Graphic design work for both the beef and dairy teams. This has included Save-the-Dates/invitations and RSVP cards for different tradeshow or conference events; updating posters or other expired materials; creating materials from scratch that are brand-compliant and functional, updating PPTs and other materials based on Promomats’ reviews; providing critique and suggestions on agency pitches; etc.Key Leadership Responsibilities:•

Must be able to prioritize and execute deliverables with little supervision•

Strong data analysis and MS Excel skills•

Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to flex communications styles to match situational needs•

Must be well versed with MS SuiteThis is a hybrid position, working onsite two days a week. Location is currently Greenfield, Indiana. In Spring 2025, HQ will move to downtown Indianapolis.
