The position of Supply Chain Expeditor is not a remote position. We have three open roles, and they are based on site in the following cities and states:Akron-OHReading-PAMorristown-NJ

A per diem may be offered depending on experience.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will perform standard supply chain and procurement tasks with a focus on growing and developing customer relationships. The candidate will be responsible for promoting and ensuring customer satisfaction through value-added services as well as prompt identification and resolution of customer complaints, problems, and issues.

This is a full-time on-site position working Monday through Friday schedule during normal business hours.

Job Functions

Supplier and Order ManagementCoordinate material readiness to site construction teams.Support upwards of 8 separate project managers with projects ranging in size from $250k to $20M.Occasional travel to visit vendor facilities to verify production readiness.Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Expedite material deliveries in accordance with construction scheduled requirements.Serve as main point of contact with vendors and materials suppliers.Communicate with project teams on the status of all materials within the project shell.

Reporting and Document ControlReview Bills of Materials (BOM) and compare to Purchase Orders to verify accuracy.Verify and provide status updates of quotes and orders to project managers.Produce and deliver reports to assist Project Managers in material readiness meetings.Track electrical equipment and material order delivery dates by reviewing Supply Chain documentation, reports, and purchase orders.Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, business administration, engineering or related discipline and minimum 4 years' related work experience is requiredTransmission Line & Substation experience requiredOSHA 10/30 Certification3-5 years' experience in project management support3-5 years' experience working with engineering teams, project managers, and EPC procurement preferred.1-2 years' experience in a direct customer-facing and materials management role.1-2 years' experience with an electrical materials supplier and electrical subcontractorExperience with ERP inventory management systemsProficiency with Microsoft Suite of Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Sharepoint, Vizio)
