The Senior Manager - Commercial Customer Experience will lead a cross-functional team to evolve the business model and enhance the commercial customer experience to accelerate profitable growth for the business and facilitate the commercial transition to a SaaS cloud model.He/she is responsible for developing a clearly articulated and executable strategy that evolves our current product-by-product capital + maintenance approach to a holistic subscription approach that drives greater customer value/satisfaction, category share expansion, and share of wallet.Other aspects include pricing, contracting, and billing harmonization and advancements.This role will also be integral to Vanguard and project Ironman.The end goal is to provide a superior commercial experience for our customers that 1) differentiates client from competitors, 2) strengthens client relationship with our customers, 3) increases stickiness and 4) incentivizes customers to standardize on client solutions across the med use process.Deliverable execution depends on strong buy-in from many stakeholders. Fostering tight cross-platform / cross-functional / cross-BU collaboration is key. Impart win-win-win value perspective: the customer wins, the anchor product wins, the connected system wins.Lead group to a one-team mentality and high-performance culture.Determine key areas of change management, process evolution to enable successful execution of the plan.Service and implementation are only in scope to the extent to which they are relevant to the commercial customer experience.This position is based in San Diego, CA and will report to the Senior Director, Globalization & Customer Experience.Responsibilities:

Innovate packaging options to align disparate digital offerings into holistic solution.Evolve commercial approach for flexibility in connecting multiple hardware into core system.Harmonize business model, pricing, contracting, and billing across product lines and geographies.Model impact on traditional hardware selling (purchase/lease) and pricing allocation.Develop Cross BU integration approach - technologically and commercially.Lead Cross-functional partnership to secure enabling people/process/technology.Determine P&L impacts and mitigations.Partner with cross-functional teams such as contracting, accounting, and IT to develop process and system requirements.Experience & Competencies:

Experience and understanding of US and international acute care hospitals medication management process.MBA with a concentration in Marketing a plus.5-8 years of experience in upstream marketing, general management, business development.Ideal candidate will have experience in both upstream and downstream marketing.Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop and implement commercial strategies, convert these into tactical business plans and deliver results.Demonstrated ability to partner with functional teams to enhance systems and processes to support business goals.Critical thinking/analytical capability.Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.Strong leadership presence with ability to utilize organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to persuade others of the course of action, facilitate successful project implementation and effective implementation.Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.Strong learning agility.Ability to work across all global regions/functions at both an executive and tactical sales/marketing level.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
