Vast.ai is seeking a skilled Senior Product Designer to lead the design and enhancement of the user experience for our GPU marketplace. The role demands a blend of technical prowess and a keen eye for detail to ensure both host partners and cloud rental customers find the interface intuitive and engaging. As an engineering-centric organization, Vast offers significant opportunities for growth and innovation. You will be instrumental in enabling Vast to scale its operations and manage millions of GPUs efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
Consistently produce new wireframes and mockups for consideration.Design and refine existing user interfaces that cater effectively to both sides of our marketplace.Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to enhance overall user experience.Identify user experience issues and devise precise solutions to enhance functionality and aesthetics.Ensure design consistency and brand integrity throughout our platforms.Example Projects:
Mockup a wireframe interface for multi-server (cluster) rentals.Wireframe new onboarding flows from the marketing website into the product.Create interactive elements and tools to boost user engagement across the marketplace.Redesign the management interfaces for GPU hosts to improve usability and control.Develop and integrate a new interface for our Service Level Agreement features, tailored for both hosts and renters.You Are:
Highly proficient in UX/UI design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.Experienced with technical aspects of design, able to understand and consider API capabilities, browser behavior, and device limitations in your designs.Skilled in designing for two-sided marketplaces, understanding the distinct needs of different user groups.Meticulous in your approach, with an outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to creating thoughtful, clear interfaces.Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Minimum of 5 years' experience in designing complex, scalable user interfaces for tech-centric products.A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product design, particularly in web and mobile platforms.
