While we welcome applications from candidates in all business-related fields, we are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in Business Intelligence/AI/Analytics, Sports Management/Leadership, Organizational Leadership,

Communication/Journalism , or Accounting.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Teach both undergraduate (traditional and accelerated degree programs) and graduate courses within the College of Business based on earned degree and area of expertise.

Support COB in the resolution of student issues in their content area, such as grade and academic appeals and re-admission of returning students.

Participate in program assessment, student learning assessment, curriculum review, academic admissions processes, and other program activities.

Serve as an ongoing full-time member of the faculty.

Provide service within the programs of both the College of Business and the University.

Complete other responsibilities as recommended or assigned.

Candidates must support and be committed to the mission and identity of Concordia University Chicago, a university of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS).

Skill Sets:

Ability to teach undergraduate- and graduate-level courses in both face-to-face and online modalities.

Ability to develop and organize programs of study that are consistent with College of Business and accreditation standards.

Ability to work with colleagues from across the campus to advance the mission of the College of Business and of Concordia University Chicago.

A service mentality toward all stakeholders, particularly students.

Minimum Experience Required:

One year of teaching experience at the college level.

Evidence of professional development in the field of concentration as demonstrated by activity in professional associations, consultative practice, participation in seminars, workshops, formal coursework, and individual reading and research.

Education Requirements:

Earned doctorate (PhD, EdD, DBA) in a business-related field.

Undergraduate certification or colloquy completion as a professional church worker in the LCMS is preferred.
