On-Site assignmentEssential Functions:Adapt to Client Drafting Standards and Specifications which apply to his/her discipline for assigned project.Understands the designs for any system within his/her discipline once design guidelines and system criteria have been established.Responsible for the constructability, operability, and maintainability of the design within his/her discipline for assigned project.Provides comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design related to his/her discipline for assigned project.Responsible for the preparation of detailed design drawings within his/her discipline, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables.Provides continual guidance to drafters within his/her discipline for assigned project.Communicates and coordinates with Lead Designer for respective discipline to promote smooth, accurate, and scheduled completion of deliverables.Maintains and keeps organizes a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during the design for his/her discipline for assigned project.Reviews drawings within his/her discipline for assigned project on a regular basis for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards.Ensures all drawings within his/her discipline for assigned project have been properly checked and backchecked.Prepares and/or directs the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.Possesses an awareness of project schedule and budget.Assists with Project Audits when required.Requirements:High School diploma or GED10 -15 years piping design in AutoCADStrong Written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate
