Siemens Industry is looking for a Marketing Communications Intern for our Electrification and Automation division to support our portfolio of protection and automation products and solutions. This position is based in Wendell, NC.

You’ll make an impact by:

Working with electrical engineering instructors to record and edit videos for training and social media posts.

Creating, editing, and proofing Power Academy marketing content for LinkedIn, our website, and internal channels.

Tracking social posts activity and engagement from social posts and making recommendations to improve performance/engagement.

Acting as a producer for our virtual training classes, supporting the instructor by managing breakout rooms and making sure students receive basic technical support and access to materials.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Marketing, Journalism, or related field.

Foundational knowledge of business and marketing strategies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines.

Experience with Microsoft Office products with proficiency in MS Works, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Located in or around Wendell, NC, and able and able to report in-person onsite for work.

Work authorization: legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience or projects planning and implementing marketing campaigns; video content, writing copy, and other marketing collateral.

Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms such as Canva, SharePoint, LinkedIN, InstaGram, and other social marketing platforms

You’ll benefit from:

The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.00/hr. Actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget, candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and geographic location.

Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
