Neuromodulation
Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These medication-free therapies allow us to provide patients with critical symptom management so they can truly experience life to the fullest.
The Opportunity
We’re actively recruiting a Marketing Communications Specialist in Austin or Plano, TX. This position is responsible for supporting the strategic development and implementation of marketing communications launch and campaign plans and strategic content development for both Chronic Pain and Movement Disorders therapies. This position will help shape the customer experience through dynamic content creation and intentional project management to highlight the true value of our comprehensive product portfolio.
What You’ll Work On
Collaborate with various teams including marketing and regulatory on all marketing content to ensure content successfully meets marketing objectives, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
Translate creative direction and messaging into compelling copy designed for traditional and digital media for a given launch or campaign
Assist in the development of all launch and campaign goals, strategies, and timelines to ensure a smooth commercialization process.
Develop creative brief with marketing counterpart(s) to help support project business case and collateral development process.
Interface with multiple departments within the division and build relationships to ensure global business needs are considered for all launch and campaign related activities.
Manage agencies and outside vendors to produce work within brand and content standards and consistent with product labeling and messaging.
Support project budget management and provide weekly updates on status.
Manage print production, inventory, and distribution of new and in-market materials for the U.S. field team.
Creation of and updates of PowerPoint presentations.
Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Ability to travel 10% (domestic).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
3+ years’ experience in Marketing Communications
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years’ experience developing short and long form content across multiple channels such as LinkedIn, blogs, and print media, ideally in the medical device industry
Knowledge and understanding of general SEO and digital copywriting
Outstanding writing & content development skills with a strong portfolio showcasing websites, blogs, social media posts, and print media
Strong project management skills
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
Excellent proof-reading skills
Print Production knowledge
MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
MS Project or similar software (i.e., monday.com., Trello, or Asana).
Knowledge of both PC and Mac hardware/software
Ability to learn new tasks quickly and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
Multitasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in timely manner
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
