You'll also evaluate projects, set priorities and workflow to ensure deadlines are met, while overseeing a small team.Each of the roles within the editorial content production team have five main areas of responsibility:Transform subject matter expert authored material into formats used by the WK OneSumX suite of software, specifically Policies and Procedures.Work with the development team to assist in the design and testing of product features, especially as concerns interaction with content.Work with customers on their content (P&P) or with internal resources on presentations or customer installations.Provide assistance to Support for customer issues they can't address.Provide content for product websites, such as homepage notices, customer communications, Help documentation (P&P).Key Tasks:Use and promote strategic thinkingProvide product expertise support to sales team about the products and through various stages of customer engagementDirect content production related projects such as P&P content conversions, changes to content offersFunction as a product expert to create business requirements for product improvements; test product improvements and issuesEnsure all work done on assigned product is completed according to design specifications and all content updates are of the highest qualityCultivate a culture that includes customer focused product innovations with speed to market. Drive innovation across Wolters Kluwer by engaging and educating staff and developing and implementing new services and customer solutionsDirect development of business requirements and specifications for internal processesProvide time, effort and risk estimates for projectsCoach, mentor and train other employeesHave a business-level understanding of software architecture concepts and comfort with software development, including topics such as database architecture, XML based authoring, business rules, and application interfacesHave a general understanding of XML and HTML editingCreate and interpret product design specificationsRespond to product related inquiries from internal and external customers with priority and excellenceFocus on continuous improvement and drive execution of product improvementsYou're a Great Fit if You Have/Can:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experienceAbility to work from the Waltham, MA office on Third Ave. every Tuesday and WednesdayUnderstand and align work effort to business strategy to help achieve the business objectives and goalsExcellent research abilityExcellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to organize and plan to maximize productivity and to promptly achieve resultsAbility to work on multiple projects or tasks and budget time appropriatelyAbility to prioritize and apply appropriate judgment to daily tasksExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to summarize product and project information for internal and external audiencesAbility to communicate with customers informatively and diplomaticallyAbility to present to a large audienceAbility to work independently and in a team environment, including self-organizing teamsFlexible and effectively responsive to changeProficiency with Word, Excel, and other MS Office products, as well as internet knowledgeProvide quality work product, on-time (within project scope, schedule and budget) and without defects.
