Epic is looking for a talented Concept Artist to help us continue to shape the future of Fortnite Festival. As Concept Artist you will work with the development teams to create memorable instrument cosmetics and related VFX that exude personality and style. You will use your artistic expertise in color, composition, shape, and visual design to help push our iconic visual look. Your craft expertise in both character and environment design will provide the inspiration which will continue to push the boundaries of what Fortnite means to our players.In this role, you will
Collaborate closely with the Art Directors and core development team to drive and visualize many different types of content across the Fortnite Festival and Battle Royale ecosystem.Coordinate with other art, design, and production teams to help accomplish the goals of the product.Create a wide array of concept art for props and related VFX.What we're looking for
Have a passion for and understanding of Fortnite’s unique visual styles.Experience working with IP partners is a plus.Portfolio that demonstrates a range of styles, creativity and craftsmanship.Strong communication skills and understanding of various art disciplines (animation, character, environment, VFX).Excellent traditional artistic skills with a strong grasp of composition, anatomy, color theory, perspective, lighting, environment, architectural, character, costume and graphic design.This role is open to multiple locations across North America & Europe (including WA).Pay Transparency Information The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).Washington Base Pay Range$89,834 — $131,757 USDABOUT US Epic Games spans across 19 countries with 55 studios and 4,500+ employees globally.
